Privacy Policy

Analytics data. KalkWise uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the Site. GA4 automatically collects standard usage information including:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Session counts and approximate geographic region (country/city level)
• Browser type, device type, and operating system
• Referring website (the site you came from)
• Events such as button clicks and calculator interactions

No personal details requested. KalkWise does not ask for your name, email address, or any other information that directly identifies you. Your IP address reaches the Site's hosting provider with each request (see Section 6).

No user accounts. KalkWise does not offer user accounts, login, or registration. You do not submit any personal information to use the Site.

No form submissions stored. Calculator inputs you enter (loan amounts, interest rates, etc.) are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to or stored on our servers. If you use Share, your inputs are written into the link itself, so anyone who receives the link can see them. Opening a shared link sends its address, inputs included, to the Site's hosting provider like any web request, so it may appear in standard server logs. The Site then removes the inputs from the page address as the page loads, before Google Analytics or AdSense code runs, and keeps them only in that page.

Google Analytics sets the cookies below. They do not contain personally identifiable information. The cookies used by GA4 include:

• _ga — Distinguishes unique users. Expires after 2 years.
• _ga_<ID> — Persists session state. Expires after 2 years.

Pages that can appear in search results also load Google AdSense code. The Site is not yet approved for AdSense and shows no ads, but Google may set or read its own advertising cookies through that code (see Section 4). KalkWise itself does not use tracking pixels, and does not use cookies for re-targeting or behavioral advertising.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings or install a browser extension such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent GA4 from collecting data about your visits.

We use analytics data solely to:

• Understand which calculators are most useful to visitors
• Identify and fix technical issues on the Site
• Improve the overall quality and performance of the Site

We do not use analytics data to build user profiles or for targeted advertising.

Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to collect usage data described in Section 1. Google may use this data in accordance with its own privacy policies. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy and Google Analytics data practices.

Google AdSense. Pages that can appear in search results load Google AdSense code. The Site is not yet approved for AdSense and shows no ads today; once it is approved, Google may serve ads on those pages. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.

No other third-party services are used on this Site. We do not integrate with social media platforms, advertising networks, or data brokers beyond those listed above.

We do not sell your data. KalkWise does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer any information about Site visitors to third parties for commercial purposes.

Analytics data collected via Google Analytics is processed by Google subject to Google's own terms of service. KalkWise does not share or disclose any data to any other third party.

Because KalkWise keeps no accounts or visitor database, there is typically no personal data held by KalkWise for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. For questions about analytics data or server logs, contact us (Section 10).

To opt out of Google Analytics data collection, you may use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or disable cookies in your browser settings.
